Salsa Verde Fiesta Tacos

5 Chicken Breasts – boneless and skinless
American Commissary Salsa Verde
American Commissary Fiery Roasted Toasted Taco Seasoning
American Commissary Salsa Seasoning

TOTAL TIME: 4 hours and 10 minutes
Prep
1. Season chicken with American Commissary Fiery Roasted Toasted Taco Seasoning. Set aside.
2. While chicken is marinating in seasonings, prepare your American Commissary Salsa Verde.
3. Once salsa is ready, add chicken to the slow cooker. Top with salsa verde, sprinkle a little more American Commissary Salsa Seasoning on top. Use a pair of tongs to turn the chicken so that both sides are coated. Cover. Cook for 3-4 hours on high heat, or 7-8 hours on low heat.
4. The chicken is ready when internal temperature is 165 degrees and easily shreds with a fork. Shred the chicken in the slow cooker, give it a good stir to combine with salsa and seasonings in cooker.
5. Serve with flour or corn tortillas and your favorite taco toppings.
OPTIONAL: During cooking add one jalapeño, stem removed and diced, leaving the seeds in for extra heat if desired.
